Filmsounddaily.com is an interesting blog for filmsound as its name. The latest post on it is about “The Soloist” movie. The film itself is interesting, but, this blog also has a link to Vimeo page of Michael Coleman, a man who was behind many Sound for Film video in Mix magazine. Check out his Vimeo page and you’ll see Mix’s Sound for Film Profile series, it’s the series i’m addicted to.

Let’s talk about The Soloist, its sound is made by Chris Scarabosio of Skywalker Sound. This is enough to interest me, I’ll watch this movie for sure. Music-related film always interest me because I want to see (to hear actually) how the sound works. Especially for this one, I want to see Jamie Foxx switch from pianist/singer in Ray to cellist
